Students include children and young adults from 7 years old to 15 years old. All ability levels are welcome and encouraged.
Eight week sessions will be held Tuesdays or Thursdays, 2:50-3:50 pm at Pleasant Hill Elementary, Room 32, throughout the school year. Students will experiment with different media, including computer programming (manipulating SPHERO robots), iPad animation, wood, metal and found objects, graphite, charcoal, oil pastels and watercolor. Each student will receive supportive and encouraging suggestions and critique.

Students spend a week, painting and drawing in studio, sketching on walks through parks, points of interest, and residential neighborhoods, and visiting museums and galleries.
Ms. Maffei has a Masters Degree and a Teaching Credential. She is a skilled artist with Medical Art, Illustration, Advertising and Television experience and over twenty years of teaching experience..
